Course Contents

This online seminar is divided into 5 modules. Each module contains various sections with all the necessary learning content (videos, PDFs, workshops, etc.).

Module 1: Foundations

The module 1 introduces the foundations of Christian teamwork and leadership. It clarifies expectations and objectives, identifies common challenges, and outlines key biblical principles. The module explains essential concepts, focuses on three central questions, and introduces project- and results-oriented management, always emphasizing the importance of keeping the team’s ultimate goal in view.

Module 2: Planning

The module 2 covers biblical planning as faithful stewardship, the importance of assessing costs, and the foundations of risk and change management. It provides tools and strategies for effective team, project, and life planning, emphasizing practical methods and essential resources for success.

Module 3: Managing an organization

The module 3 explores both biblical and practical principles of team organization. It highlights clear structures, role definitions, team selection, delegation, decision-making, and productive meetings as central to effective ministry. Organizational change management and the avoidance of common meeting pitfalls are also addressed.

Module 4: Communication & Relationship

The module 4 focuses on the dynamics of relationships within teams. Key themes include effective communication, conflict management, negotiation skills, and the importance of trust, integrity, and active listening. Emotional intelligence and the customer-servant relationship are emphasized as vital for healthy team interactions.

Module 5: Leadership

The module 5 centers on biblically grounded leadership essentials for achieving team results. It covers leadership research, maintaining a mission focus, motivation, coaching, and shaping team culture. Special emphasis is placed on the importance of character, integrity, and leading by example according to biblical standards, as well as practical approaches to staff management and evaluation, following Christ’s model of servant leadership.
